Organize a Food Drive
Thank you For Your Interest In Organizing a Food Drive!
Food drives are a great way to bring people together to support our community by making a tangible impact. Food drives greatly increase the diversity of food on our shelves, allowing our neighbors in need more choice and a broader range of nutrition. Hosting a food drive at your school or workplace can be a great way to build community while giving back. Feel free to organize a food drive on your own, but if you need any support in getting started, we are here to help.

Marketing Materials
If you host a food drive, make sure to promote it! Here are a few things to keep in mind when talking about hunger in Alaska:
- 1 in 7 Alaskans, including 1 in 5 children, experience food insecurity
- Every donation matters – all food collected will help to feed someone in our community
- Community impact and collective action – Small efforts in tandem can make a meaningful difference in our communities
