Find Food Assistance
SEAFB's public pantry is open to everyone in our community, every Thursday from 3:00–5:30 PM, with no ID, no income verification, and no appointment required. Qualifying households can also receive a free monthly food box through our TEFAP program. If you're hungry in Southeast Alaska, you're who we're here for.
Donate Money or Food
Every dollar donated to SEAFB goes further than it would at a grocery store. Our buying power lets us source food at a fraction of retail cost, which means your $25 translates into real meals for real families. Non-perishable food donations are also accepted at drop-off sites across Juneau.
Volunteer or Partner With Us
Sort and pack food, support pantry distribution days, run a food drive, or join as a corporate partner. Group volunteers, youth organizations, and community service participants are all welcome. One shift here is enough to see what this community is capable of.
3 Decades of Food Assistance
Southeast Alaska's Only Food Bank — 30 Years and Still Showing Up
More than three decades ago, SEAFB was founded after community members were observed searching for food in dumpsters on the streets of Juneau. That founding moment hasn't faded. It's why everything we do is built around dignified, barrier-free access to food.
Today, we provide emergency food assistance in Juneau and distribute to 30+ member agencies across Southeast Alaska, reaching communities in Kake, Hoonah, Pelican, Gustavus, Petersburg, Angoon, and Haines. Our public pantry remains what it has always been: open to every person in this community, no documentation required.
